Landscape design

The design consultation is the initial and most essential phase of our garden design process. During this meeting, we gather crucial site information and foster open communication to understand your aspirations, site criteria, design preferences, product choices, opportunities, and budget.

Following this preliminary consultation, we prepare a Landscape Concept Design. We utilize 3D design to help you visualize and experience your project. We will provide you with a comprehensive set of 3D renders, accompanied by a 2D concept layout, a planting concept plan, and material suggestions. This package offers a clear understanding of our proposed layout, key design features, approximate dimensions, and general planting and surface recommendations.

Please note that a $200 fee is charged for the Design Consultation

The concept design outlines the proposed layout and ambiance of your project, developed in response to the Design Consultation.

We begin by creating an initial Landscape / Pool concept tailored to your brief and the existing site conditions. Subsequently, we will schedule a meeting to discuss our preliminary ideas, allowing you to ask questions and provide immediate feedback to ensure the concept aligns with your vision.

Additionally, you will receive a 2D & a comprehensive 3D renders drawing pack to help visualize the concept, enabling you to review the ideas and offer further feedback.

The minimum fee for the Concept Design Stage is $2,000.

The concept design will be translated into a detailed set of drawings, including all hardscape and planting plans & 3D video.

These drawings will specify all levels, finishes, details, methods, and dimensions for all outdoor elements. This phase includes the necessary detailing to facilitate accurate quotations and the subsequent construction/installation of your landscape project.

The documentation will cover materials, planting palettes, and finishes, with descriptive annotations to clearly convey the proposed design elements. Our designs are highly visual and schematic, ensuring a clear representation of the design outcome. We will present a range of material options, including natural stone, timber, pool tiles, and concrete. Additionally, lighting design options can be provided at this stage.

The minimum fee for the Developed Design Stage is $2,500.

Once the design stages are complete, as Nick is also an estimator, we will provide you an accurate quote for your whole project. You can rely on our estimation to stick to your budget when using us, our recommended builders or your own tradie(s). We also provide a service to liaise throughout the construction process to ensure the design intent and integrity is maintained until the final
product is delivered.
